About Graeme...
Graeme Harvey is an award winning corporate trainer, author and ‘white collar’ adventurer. Graeme has always challenged his clients to set goals and raise the bar. Putting his money where his mouth is, Graeme has embarked on a variety of different challenges from the 26.2 miles of the marathon, the Ironman triathlon, climbing up Kilimanjaro to Ultra Marathons. In 2013 Graeme completed one of his toughest challenges to date the self styled ‘Toughest Footrace on Earth’ the Marathon des Sables. Taking place in the 125 degree heat of the Moroccan Sahara his exploits are covered in his book Running the ‘Highway to Hell' which was shortlisted for book of the year in the UK Running Awards and UK National Adventure Awards in 2015.
In 2017 Graeme set out with his wife Kirsty to run 1100 miles across France and Spain following the fabled El Camino de Santiago. How did they get on? Graeme's book Adventures on 'The Way' is out now exclusively on Amazon.
In 2018 Graeme and Kirsty cycled across Europe, coast to coast. 2700 miles, 50 days, 10 countries, 4 capital cities and 3 punctures.
When opportunity knocks, adventure isn't far behind. In 2019 Graeme and Kirsty set out on a short journey through Portugal and Spain following the pilgrimage route of the Camino Portugues from Porto to the fabled Santiago de Compostela. It's a pilgrim's progress of chance meetings, wine, new friends, more wine and making the most of every moment. Another 'Way' is out now on Amazon.
